Linen bread bag - charcoal is backordered and will ship as soon as it is back in stock.

Description

Inspired by a visit to our local farmers’ market and needing something to pop a floury loaf into, this bread bag was designed with a simple loop fastening so your bread or pastries stay put.

Hand made from 100% linen this bag will sustain being washed over and over and will soften the more you use it. And don’t save it for your weekly bread shop, use it to carry vegetables, fruit, as a snack bag, a plimsoll bag or as a caddy to hold toys in the car.

  • approx. 36cm x 28cm
  • sewn by hand by Jane, Scissors & Pins Studio in Stroud, UK
  • prewashed for softness and so it won’t shrink on its first wash at home
  • machine washable with similar colours at 30 degrees
  • will arrive neatly folded, but please note that the fabric will have natural creases (which we think are gorgeous)
  • 100% linen from Merchant and Mills
    Packaging & delivery

    Packaging

It means a lot to us to keep our footprint as minimal as possible when sending your parcels at Object Story.

Our cardboard boxes, paper packing tape, tissue paper, paper bubble wrap, postcard and invoice can all go into your cardboard and paper recycling.

The white packing nuts we use are made from potato starch and can go in your home compost bin, or you can wash them down the sink with warm water. They're quite fun for children to get creative with, too!

Our twine is made from hemp or cotton and can also go in your home compost, or even better, be reused.

Thank you for taking care of our packaging responsibly, in support of people and our planet.

    Delivery

    We have two postage options:

£3.50 for a second class option

£4.50 for a faster shipping option

We use Royal Mail and DPD depending on the size and value of your items. We always use a tracked service so you can see when your parcel will arrive with you.

Please note, we aim to get parcels dispatched within three working days, but at busy times such as during sale or at Christmas, it can take us longer.
