Description

These glass preserving jars have been in French larders and grocery stores since the 1930s. The perfect jar for storing dried produce as well as for preserving jams, marmalades and pickles, or for storing soup and leftovers in the fridge.

The screw-top lids include a sealing cap, meaning you can be sure your preserves are properly sealed. And the slightly conical shape means they can be stored neatly in your cupboard or on your shelves.

Packaging & delivery

Packaging

It means a lot to us to keep our footprint as minimal as possible when sending your parcels at Object Story.

Our cardboard boxes, paper packing tape, tissue paper, paper bubble wrap, postcard and invoice can all go into your cardboard and paper recycling.

The white packing nuts we use are made from potato starch and can go in your home compost bin, or you can wash them down the sink with warm water. They're quite fun for children to get creative with, too!

Our twine is made from hemp or cotton and can also go in your home compost, or even better, be reused.

Thank you for taking care of our packaging responsibly, in support of people and our planet.

Delivery

We have two postage options:

£3.50 for a second class option

£4.50 for a faster shipping option

We use Royal Mail and DPD depending on the size and value of your items. We always use a tracked service so you can see when your parcel will arrive with you.

Please note, we aim to get parcels dispatched within three working days, but at busy times such as during sale or at Christmas, it can take us longer.
