Hand-thrown jug | dolomite
A beautiful small jug, the perfect size for serving milk for your morning coffee and cereal, a jus at supper time or cream for dessert.
Thrown by hand on a potters wheel in Cornwall using local clay, the partial dolomite glaze brings out the iron in the clay body lending a slight hint of blue.
The bottom of the jug is left unglazed, which gives a wonderful earthy feel - this object is truly a pleasure to hold in your hand.
A beautiful object you'll want to use each and every day.
- 10.5cm high, 6.5cm wide
- made by hand in Cornwall, UK
- due to the handmade nature of this object, glazes and finishes are unique and can vary significantly
Packaging & delivery
It means a lot to us to keep our footprint as minimal as possible when sending your parcels at Object Story.
Our cardboard boxes, paper packing tape, tissue paper, paper bubble wrap, postcard and invoice can all go into your cardboard and paper recycling.
The white packing nuts we use are made from potato starch and can go in your home compost bin, or you can wash them down the sink with warm water. They're quite fun for children to get creative with, too!
Our twine is made from hemp or cotton and can also go in your home compost, or even better, be reused.
Thank you for taking care of our packaging responsibly, in support of people and our planet.
We have two postage options:
£3.50 for a second class option
£4.50 for a faster shipping option
We use Royal Mail and DPD depending on the size and value of your items. We always use a tracked service so you can see when your parcel will arrive with you.
Please note, we aim to get parcels dispatched within three working days, but at busy times such as during sale or at Christmas, it can take us longer.
